Privacy Policy — Afilidado
1. Who we are
Afilidado ("we," "us," "our") operates a marketplace connecting betting and casino brands with affiliate partners (streamers, tipsters, and content creators) across African markets.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), and your role (brand or partner).
- Profile information: display name, avatar, company name, description, target markets, and other details you choose to add to your profile.
- Social channel data: if you connect Telegram or X (Twitter), we access your channel's public subscriber count to verify it. We do not read your private messages or post on your behalf. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted.
- Tracking data: when someone clicks a partner's tracking link, we record the click's timestamp, a hashed version of the visitor's IP address, browser/device information, referring page, and approximate country. This is used to detect fraudulent traffic and calculate accurate conversion reporting — we do not store the visitor's actual IP address.
- Communications: messages sent through our chat feature between brands and partners are stored so both parties can access their conversation history.
3. How we use your information
- To operate your account and provide access to the marketplace
- To verify social channel subscriber counts for the partner directory
- To detect and prevent fraudulent click activity
- To generate performance reports (clicks, conversions, traffic quality) for brands and partners
- To facilitate communication between brands and partners
- To enforce our Terms and Conditions and investigate disputes
4. What we don't do
- We do not process, store, or have access to your payment card, bank, or financial account details. Afilidado does not move money between brands and partners — all payments are settled directly between the two parties, and we only track the status of payout requests you record.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on our platform.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in (an authentication session cookie). These are required for the platform to function and are not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.
6. Data sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the platform:
- Between a brand and a partner once they have an active campaign or direct conversation together
- With Telegram and X, solely for the purpose of verifying your connected channel
- If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Afilidado, our users, or the public
7. Data retention
We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal profile information within a reasonable period, though anonymized or aggregated data (such as fraud-detection statistics) may be retained.
8. Your rights
You can review and update most of your profile information directly from your dashboard at any time. To request deletion of your account or data, contact us using the details below.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypting sensitive tokens and hashing passwords and tracked IP addresses. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll note the "last updated" date above when we do.
